(c)2005 Yesterday I was out driving on my favorite country road and stopped to receive a phone call. I pulled over to answer the phone and there ahead of me, just off the road, was this beautiful hawk, wings extended, trying to catch something in the short grass. Then a car came from around the curve and the hawk, I thought, had flown away. I sat there upset that I had missed a wonderful chance to catch the event on my Canon Optura 20 digital camcorder. So, after my call was over, I started slowly back on the road going around the curve when these pictures can tell you what I seen. By the way, these pictures were taken through the windshield of my truck, so please excuse the lack of clarity. I've received some negative voting lately and feel it necessary to say that I have never professed to be a professional,...artist or photographer. So, please don't judge me by a "professionals" standards! To everyone who has supported me with kind words, compliments and "fair" critiques,...and you know who you are,...I very gratefully thank you for your comments and views. By the way, if this is an eagle, I would be greatly surprised!
