The Intimidation

Alaskan Brown Bears, Brooks Falls,Brooks Camp Alaska.. Yes , this is the Falls with the Bears Fishing for Salmon that you see on National Geographic T.V.... The Brown Bears of Alaska are kin(sub species) to the Grizzly But are Much Bigger because of their main diet of protein rich Salmon of which when they first come out of hibernation they eat pretty much whole but as they satisfy their initial hunger began to eat just the roe(eggs) and the skin. It gives them the most nutrients with the least amount of effort.. When your trying to fatten for the winter months you want the most calories without the expenditure of energy..It's mother Natures Way..The bear on the left has just finished fishing on top of the falls and now wants the spot of the bear down at the right who has been fishing the area below the falls as there are hundreds of Salmon just underneath the water queing up ready to make a run of the falls to get back to their breeding grounds. So the intimadation begins to see who will back down.. ..The Bear on the right (which is a older bear past his prime)finally gives in and leaves his spot to the younger and probably stronger bear..
