For some that call is loud and incessant. Actually, I had sketched out this idea months ago and found it yesterday and thought I would play with it again. It's probably no better or worse than it was when I conceived it. Hmmm. Is that faint praise? This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil on manilla paper. Yes, it's a bit goofy so it must be more of that Original Jones Art as it continues to multiply here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Not so long ago, I incorporated bird imagery on a pretty regular basis. After my 'retirement' commenced, I found myself losing the birds and focusing more on the faces, though sometimes I'd still throw in a bird reference for good measure. The Pandemic reinforced or perhaps prolonged the facial fascination. I rather liked the original image and this 'clean up' isn't bad, Ginger. Thanks once again. :)

Artist Reply: Me too, Dave. It's like an archaeological dig around here as things pile up. I 'save' items but do not 'hoard' them, I hasten to add. Some, of course, would argue the point. Thanks! :)
