I woke up this morning with the feeling that I'm being relegated to the less than but not quite here category, that I'm moving quickly toward the realm of the not only obsolescent but the soon to become statuary---or at least have statuary placed somewhere near my head. Yes, it may be partly in my head but I can't help feeling as I read the so-called 'newsfeeds' that my age group no longer seems to matter, that we all have one swollen foot almost in the requisite hole. Well, all I can say is---not quite yet. Stay tuned for more of that Original Jones Art the world has been largely ignoring for 50 odd years 'cause I ain't dead yet here in that ramshackle yet somehow overly-priced city known as Austin, Texas. PS: Yes, I used my City of Austin utility bill envelope to bring home my point---well, the point of pen and pencil. This is a 7.25 by 5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil.
