Unable to nail the art of making beautiful clouds, ended up making a tutorial for myself. Step 1 - Mark only the base outline of the cloud, in any landscape you are going to have them, in city, sea, mountain. Step 2 - Now how far high they go, make these in odd numbers, to make them look natural Step 3 - Decide which portion gets the light, draw same curvy lines under all the major arcs, proportional to the upper curvature Step 3a - Randomize the shapes when you move down the curve make them all convex, when u flatten or move inwards make them concave Step 4 - Apply this to all the clouds big or small doesn't matter, just wherever you need them Step 5 - Start shading, again apply pressure in accordance with the daylight you need to show Now if you want to color them, keep in mind to go for atleast 3 color palatte, in this pic i have used orange to highlight the light reflected, pale pink in the shading of the inside areas of the cloud and under the orange it is gray to add depth to the base of the cloud Hope this helps who can't catch a cloud, like i was !!
