Still without a scanner, I am uploading a small envelope drawing from a month or two back. I liked the blue pattern in this one, hence the title. This is a 4 by 3 inches (roughly) gel pen drawing on toothy envelope paper. It is Original Jones Art's attempt to give his arrhythmic heart reason to continue beating here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Very powerful image Charles. It works well in two tones.

Artist Reply: I started doing these envelope drawings something over two years ago, I think. When I was a kid I drew on just about everything, good, bad or indifferent. Didn't exactly have a lot of art supplies. No art instruction in my little school in rural East Texas. I asked for a Jon Gnagy art kit with study books when I was around 11 and actually got one for Christmas. I guess that sort of 'dates' me, Kevin. He had a show on TV way back in the day. I learned how to draw like him and then I unlearned how to draw like him, you might say. :)
