Hallstädt, a beautiful typical Austrian village situated on a lake, with a lift to a high viewpoint over the region. But there are more like that. In recent years we have visited the village twice and we were always amazed by the masses of tourists who visited the village with whole busloads, so that it was crowded in the narrow streets. Tourists mainly coming from Japan, India, Korea, China ... Little did we know that the village served as inspiration for the extremely popular animated films of "Frozen".
