This tangle of soft thin ribbons of color swirl, flow, and merge. With thin washes of watercolor showing the soft ribbons below. I have an eye condition that sometimes leaves me unable to see clearly for days at a time. I painted this during one of those flares, I could really only slightly see the bright ribbons of color, no small details. I was forced to choose a bright color, and commit to making big sweeping strokes, I knew I could not fuss over it the way I do over most of mine. 9/12 original on paper
