The Turkey Vulture has such a horrible and sometimes scary reputation but he is really one Florida's most important birds when it comes to keeping the environment clean. Here one sits atop a tree and acts as a look out for the others who are feeding on road kill below. These are actually graceful and beautiful birds when they fly and are sometimes mistaken for Eagles when they soar.
