If it's been eating that leaf and, by the looks of the shot, it has, then no to a mosquito. I'm not sure where you are but I have been viewing your insect uploads over time and you definitely have varieties of insects that aren't in my neck of the woods--which is central Texas. So keep the uploads coming, Mr. Wu. :)
Artist Reply: thank you for your detailed comment Charles! but the mosquito ( I am not very sure if it's a mosquito) was eating nothing when I noticed it. I am living in South China and taking motorcycle trips & taking smartphone pictures of insects is one of my favorite activities. thank you again.
