Of many different styles of art in Hawaii during the '50's before statehood, the thing that impressed me was bamboo furniture. Not to say that local girls & kitchy table lamps weren't cool, but playing little league baseball was my main passion back then.

very nicely done--my only problem in merging the beautiful selection of art with the written dialogue is--I DON'T SEE ANY BASEBALLS HERE...
