This is the second sculpture in my 'Three-Part Harmony' series. If you read my explanation of the first, you know I attempted to find a certain 'harmony' by combining pieces I had constructed willy-nilly. One of the prerequisites was that the parts found and combined had to stand on their own. This was crucial. T Bar stands 7.75 inches at its peak, 5.5 inches wide and 4 inches deep. It, like Umbrella, is composed of my 21st Century papier mach'e compound covering Styrofoam. It is finished with polymer varnish with a light yellowish brown tone. Yes, Original Jones Art is harking back to his primal roots, imagining northwest Austin, Texas to be home to a prehistoric lake.
