SANTA WITH A TWIST

Art I created for this holiday season that is more pagan than merry.  Merging May Day with Christmas, the origins of the Maypole dance is meant to symbolize the "union" of the masculine with the feminine.  In recent years, I've experienced  the "disunity". However, May Day also invokes the turn of spring.  A new beginning which DOES apply to me.

TERRIFIC WORK. AS KIDS WE USE TO ENJOY MAY DAY. AT SCHOOL WE HAD THE MAY POLE AND AT HOME WE MADE OUR OWN MAY BASKETS FULL OF GOODIES. . HANG THEM ON SOMEONE'S DOOR HANDLE, RING THE BELL AND RUN AWAY.
