Another study of the clans and regiments of the 45'. The Campbell Militia, under the Duke of Argyle, fought on the side of the government against the Jacobite supporters, and at the battle of Culloden produced a devastating hail of bullets into the right flank of the charging highlanders. Not all Campbells fought for the government however, the Campbells of Glen Lyon fought for the Jacobite cause.
