Graphite pencil drawing on smooth Bristol board, 14 x 11". My, then boss, commissioned me to create this artwork of his young daughter, Shiobhan, for his wife's birthday. It was actually my very first art commission and I had only been drawing for a few months, but hesitantly agreed to do the drawing. When I presented it to my boss, he absolutely loved it and even became a bit tearful. Then I knew I had done well and it was a fantastic feeling.
