Opel 1908

The Adam and Georg Opel brothers had to wait until 1898, three years after the death of their father, who did not want to know about cars, before they could start building their own automobiles. In the years before they built sewing machines and later also motorcycles. Ten years later they were already among the top German car manufacturers. Their cars were not exactly among the cheapest: just about four years salary from an average German worker. Image size: 260 x 360 mm
