BEAUTIFUL TUDOR STYLE HOUSES, IVO. YES, LOOKS JUST LIKE GERMANY. HOWEVER BRITAIN ALSO HAS THESE TUDOR DESIGN HOUSES. FABULOUS PAINTING.

Artist Reply: Thanks Sharon

Lovely watercolor. I may never know where my ancestors lived in Germany.

Artist Reply: Thank you Brenda. Just like the Belgians, Germans used to be swarmed around the world, only they were so much more numerous

SO GORGEOUS MY FRIEND. MY GRANDFATHER CAME FROM MECKLENBURG, GERMANY. THESE STRUCTURES ALWAYS FASCINATED ME. AM SURE HE NEVER LIVED IN ANYTHING SO PRETTY.

Artist Reply: Thanks Joanie, these houses are usually fully equipped with new interior walls. We have stayed a few times in a hotel built in half-timbered and the rooms were decorated very modern. I saw that Mecklenburg is in northern Germany not so far from the North Sea coast.
