I'd had this stretched thing---not on canvas, looks to be a synthetic material, for some time in the garage. I've also had this idea of putting something out front to make people notice my now home studio and gallery. I found a simple drawing that fit the format and went to town, so to speak. Technically, I'm already IN town. I was going to make it quick and simple but even quick and simple on a 25 by 50 inch pseudo-canvas took a number of hours.. The painting itself I'm calling 'Bill On The Hill' but it's largely a piece that the weather will slowly dispose of. Yes, this is my way of taking Original Jones Art public here in Austin, Texas.

Hey Charles; looks great!

Artist Reply: Well, a long-distance friend of mine has artwork 'out front' for those pesky tourists. I thought the least I could do was put something 'out front' for those pesky neighbors and drive-by folks. In fact, the inspiration for the character came from a neighbor, though he'd never recognize himself. :) Thank you, Erik!
