In what would have been Aaliyahs 40th birthday i want to reflect back to age 12. When she first passed away i was in utter shock as most fans. One of my classmates called me and when I tell you...you would've thought her big sister or Auntie had died. She was hysterically sobbing Tameisha i just can't believe she's really gone and all I could say was i know me either but I never cried. It took me about a week and then I just lost it and fell in my bed crying accepting that as fans Babygurl was really gone. I still love her music and I'll always miss Aaliyah which in Muslim means the Highest Most Exalted One and she definitely was that!
