A New Life Painted upon the Foundation of Tragety

Life is very very strange, how one little thing can change the whole coarse of your whole life. If my best friend, Kenny Ahern, hadn't gotten killed in a car wreck memorial weekend 1967, then I never would have met Fran, the love of my life, had our 4 children and have our 5 grandchildren now and I never would have ended up being an artist for 50 years now. As a result of my best friend, Kenny Ahern, getting killed in that car wreck back in 1967 I ended up going up to the hospital a week later to vist the 2 guys, who were also in the car when the wreck happened. Then also, I never would have started to hang around with Larry Elrod, one of those 2 other guys, that was in the car with Kenny that day and hospitalized in serious condition for a about 4 days. And if I hadn't started hanging around with Larry then I never would have met Fran, the love of my life, who I ended up marrying and I had 4 children with her and we would not have our 5 grandchildren. Because 3 years after I started to hang around with Larry, he got a job in Highland Park where Fran worked and told me that I should apply there too, so I did, and that is where I met Fran, the love of my life, but like i said, if my best friend hadn't gotten killed in that car wreck, then I never would have started hanging around with the other guy, who was in the car with Kenny when he got killed. Also I never would have met the artist, Howard Paveglio, who also was in the car with kenny when he got killed and Howard was in serious condition in the hospital for 4 days too. I had heard that there were 2 other guys in the car with my best friend, Kenny, when the car wreck happened, so after they were no longer in the icc unit I went up to the hospital about a week later to see them and to ask them what in the world happened and how did the car accident happen that killed Kenny. After meeting the artist, that day, I asked him if I could look at his sketch book, he said sure. The first drawing in his sketch book inspired me to want to become an artist too, it was a drawing of a hand, that was cuped and even though it looked just like a hand, it also looked just like 5 people standing over a grave mouring. This drawing that I drew here I drew it in memory of my best friend, Kenny Ahern, who got killed a few days before that, which led to me meeting the artist of that drawing. This is also a tribute to Howard Pavagleo, who is the artist and to that first drawing of his that I ever saw, which caused me to want to become an artist, so on the way home from meeting him in the hospital that day after my best friend got killed in the same car wreck, I stopped at Larsen and Peterson and bought my first paints and canvas and that was the begining of my art career, it began upon a foundation of tragedy. I titled it; "A New Life Painted upon the Foundation of Tragety". Like I said, "Life is very very strange, how one little thing can change the whole coarse of your whole life."
