The time spent scouting for the archery season has paid off. Back in the big timber there was a deer trail crossing an opening. The hunter was sitting in his stand when the nice buck appeared out of nowhere, stopped by the field, checked the situation over before crossing. The bow hunter was waiting for the buck to make his move. Painted on Jan. 15, 2017 by the founder of The Stump Sitters and Deer & Deer Hunting magazine who is now been retired for 20 years and paints for a hobby.
