Artist Reply: It's interesting to note that I do not 'think' variety of bird when I do these; it merely represents 'bird' and to me bird means individualism, creativity, balance (as in harmony with nature)---any number of things. Maybe intuition too since to me that means a co-mingling of raw intellect and that 'gut feeling' this is difficult to pin a definition to, Mark. In this one I was thinking that one should close one's eyes and listen to that inner voice; it seldom lies. Hope we all have a decent 2016. :)
