I drew a small sketch on a sticky and thought I'd see what I could do with it. This is a 20 by 16 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas and another example of Original Jones Art. This painting has been chosen to hang in the AVAA Summer Show July 2015 at ArtSpace Gallery, Austin, TX.

Cool work!!!

Artist Reply: Seems I took a subtractive approach to this painting, Heloisa. It is defined as much by what isn't there as by what is. Sort of like we humans. :) Best wishes to you.

Looks like a beaker bird.

Artist Reply: The title has everything to do with the way you ask it, on what word or syllable one places the emphasis, Stanley. But, yes, I suppose 'beaker bird' might work in a pinch. :) Hope you are doing great.
