Protected Child

I was reading a book, Eon.. and the dragons followed the chinese zodiac so there was rabbit dragon, goat dragon etc. I decided to do a Horse Dragon and it's signature was the Keeper of Passion and what more passion than the love between a mother and her infant? So I thought to place them on top of a mountain where they slept and the mother used her wing to keep her child warm and protected from the cold snow. :) This is the following morning where the mother was checking on her child. This took me quite a while as the picture wasn't really clear in my head and I wasn't too confident over the piece. It took me quite some time to do as well. However, I did my best and really hope you like it :)
