I spent the last week on a commissioned piece. The request was to incorporate SpongeBob Squarepants into one of my pieces. It took me some time to come up with a concept, but after the preliminary drawing, I began in earnest. This is an acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped 16 by 12 inch canvas. Original Jones Art.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Chris! It took some time to come up with the idea for this one. I showed the client the preliminary drawing and he liked it. He seemed very happy with the painting also---which was a great relief. :)

I like it! When the studio was working at full tilt, I did a lot of combining of elements. Now, all I do is think about it and do something else.
