Home is in Your Heart

©Seth F. Weaver, Sr. 03/18/14. No matter where you go or what you do your thoughts always go home. The love and the companionship of family, near by friends, and the happiness of another time and place. The weather around you may continuously change like moods of the year. Home never changed with warm blankets on cold nights, sweet smells from the warm cozy kitchen. There was happiness and sadness as in life but when you came home and closed that front door part of it never followed you in. Mom and Dad were always waiting with hugs and kisses, no matter how far away you went or how long you were gone. Home was where they were and the love that they filled it with. Going there was the only cure for homesickness. The old house pictured here was discovered recently when I was in Eastern North Carolina it had a charming antique quality, I took the shot at a red light. The face belongs to Thelma Todd a 1920-1930s movie star. A Compullage™ creation.
