This was the last acrylic I worked on for 2012's AVAA's Christmas Show. I didn't finish it in time. It is 12 by 12 inches on gallery-wrapped canvas. This piece was chosen for the 2013 Austin Visual Arts Association's 12BUY12 show in Austin, TX. Original Jones Art. Addendum: This piece was donated to the school I work for to help raise money, January 2017.

I love your birds! Would you call this style "cubist?!"

Artist Reply: Hmmm. No, probably not, Dana. It really doesn't fit the criteria for cubism. Though I use a quick drawing approach similar to the Dadaists', I do this for purity's sake---to eliminate, hopefully, needless detail. I guess we'll just have to call this 'CJism" and be done with it. Hope you are having a creative day. :)

I love this Meaning !! Exceptionally Beautiful painting and a Grand original creation ! Great combination of Colors and Textures !

Artist Reply: Thank you, John! This small painting was in the 12buy12 show at Artspace in Austin, TX that went up early December. In fact, I only just yesterday retrieved it since that show was coming down. Unfortunately, no one decided they couldn't live without it. Back it goes to the home-based aviary. ;) Hope you are doing well and being your creative best. :)
