Dichotomy is defined as the separation into two divisions parts that differ widely from or contradict one another. ;) I used primarily watercolor, but also the India ink brush pen and gel pen. Image area is 5.5 by 4 inches. Original Jones Art from Austin, Texas.

Just for fun ,I really tried hard to compose a drawing using your kind of effects,I put pencil to paper, nothing absolutely ,nothing comes out of my brain to draw these characters,,,,Charles you have a very unique skill, moreover a talent that no one has imagined ,wonderfully Created again,,,Brilliant BRAND,you OWN,,,

Artist Reply: Al, I think you'd need to 'practice' my automatic drawing technique until you got comfortable with letting things go and do their own thing. You probably are just trying too hard. Go Zen and let it flow, Al. :)

you captured it charles! very nice work!

Artist Reply: Dichotomy raises its head quite frequently in my work, as you've probably noticed, Curtis. The bird (nature) is quite content as it is; the man less so, on average. You are doing brilliant work, BTW. :)

Brilliantly, Defining Work, Charles!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thought Provoking & True!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Artist Reply: I went in and added more red to that upper lip after the upload, Chris. There is a fine line between complexity and comprehension in any endeavor, but especially in art, I think. Get that fork moving up there, OK? :)
