Skipping over the waves

Widespread ketch in the first half of the previous century, used for transport or as a fishingboat. I never had the occasion to see a sailing specimen of those splendid boats, but on the basis of a thorougly builded model I tried to put life again into this beautiful vessel. Imagesize : 260 x 360 mm

Artist Reply: Thanks for the nice comment Donna. In fact this vessel is painted on base of a good builded scale-model which I wanted to bring alive again with my aquarel
