How many of us live in a comfortable shell? Such a life isn't truly living. Image area 5 and 3/8 by 7.50 inches. I used primarily felt-tips along with some gels. Original Jones Art on the half shell in Austin, Texas.

Ok, now that you know that I neither understand nor have the imagination for this type of art, could you possibly tell me what you were thinking when you did "The Comfortable Shell"?

Artist Reply: Well, Louie, I'm hoping you are having a great holiday and enjoying family and friends. I also hope my personal e-mail regarding this work and a couple of others went, in some small way, toward explaining the way I encrypt my images--sometimes even from myself. :)

Oh, How Right You are, Charles!!!!!!!! Excellent Work for Thought!!!!!!!!!!!

Artist Reply: I woke up around 3 this morning and tossed and turned. Then I thought I'd DO something. This is the result. After more or less finishing it, Chris, I went back to bed and slept 'til almost 8. Go figure. :)
