I lived in similar cabins many times during my hunting travels. Looking at this, I feel as if I am drifting somewhere in spring woods again, have found one more unknown cabin of this kind by chance and I am thinking what is better: to go away and sleep at a camp fire as usual, or to try to use this cabin for a more comfortable rest? It is wet, chilling in that mist, and I also feel tired and homeless... I wonder, how could you feel like that and remind me that uncertain feeling so exactly? Great ART!
Artist Reply: When i first saw this cabin was back in the 70s. It was beautiful everything hand made. It was a summer retreat for the owners. When i took the picture of it for my painting was in the 90s. It had been abandoned and left to rot. vandals had trashed it. It made me sad. Thank you for your comment Yury.
