Saw this in the haunted house. Excellent work, lots of good childhood associations, birding with dad and such. My free and questionable advice for future perched bird images; focus on the legs. They make up a tiny amount of the critter, but they really connect the bird to the environment, literally and visually.
Anyway, thanks for putting this online. It gave me a few happy moments in an otherwise dreary morning.
