"Evening Cup II": an original, limited-edition, linoleum block print on Japanese Hosho paper, 2011. Edition size: 20. This is print 3/20. Image dimensions 10" by 10". Paper dimensions 12" by 14" . The print is made with oil-based Daniel Smith Traditional Relief Ink, which will never fade. The paper is hand-made Japanese Hosho print paper. I inked the block with a brayer in the customary way, I laid the Hosho paper on it very carefully, and I ran block and paper through an etching press, to make the print. The print is numbered, titled, signed, and dated. SHIPPING: This art will be shipped via the US Postal Service. I place the print between two acid-free papers, and I then loosely roll it and place it inside a home-made cardboard tube. I put that inside a 6" x 6" square mailing tube. This is a very sturdy package. I have had good luck with this way of packaging, and with the US Postal Service. This method saves on shipping costs, both for me and for the customer.
