Mixed Media Watercolor/Aqueous stick, dry/Ink enhancement. Blue to Purple Iris snipped in the garden and arranged with meandering Heartleaf. Intense, delicately rendered 'living still life'.

Artist Reply: I think I saw the same quality in your "Portrait" today...the composition involving the light, lack of it and the interplay with the subject which of course is the obvious focus. That's why I like LIVING still life and painting scenarios that have many points of interest.
