Summit Gardens Panama 2

In growing up on the Panama Canal Zone, we had lots of picnics at Summit Gardens; family picnics, Brownie and Girl Scout picnics, my Freshman Class picnic of which I was chairman, church group picnics, school picnics, etc. Summit Gardens is actually a botanical garden with over 15,000 different kinds of tropical plants. Yes, it was built by the United States over 80 years ago. It was founded by the Panama Canal Company in 1923. There is now a zoo there too. This is another place in the gardens than my 1st & 3rd paintings. I hope you enjoy!

I love this picture. This is what I am striving for in my landscapes. It just keeps eluding me. Great work.
