Schools are back in session after a short summer vacation, so I got back in the mood for school by creating this artwork showing a close-up of a student presenting an apple to his/her teacher. I fondly recall, when I was a regular classroom teacher before I retired- always receiving apples from my students at the beginning of each school year. I am now a substitiute teacher, and I still sometimes receive apples from students that I substitute teach. It is good to know that this treasured tradition of student-teacher interaction never goes out of style. I used the Paint program on my computer to produce my art.
