The World Comes to Cape Town

This is a painting of "The World," the large cruise ship, as it comes into Cape Town, South Africa's harbour. The beautiful sunset behind Table Mountain literally shimers in the Atlantic Ocean, with the vibrant colours reflect back on "The World." This wonderful impressionistic acrylic painting is alive with colour and a joy to view. In the distance in the middle of the painting are the new luxury condo's built along the Waterfront with the city of Cape Town in the distance. Beautifully detailed, the painting is almost three dimensional and one can see and almost hear the ripples in the water as it flows past this magnificent ship in the sunset at Cape Town's Waterfront. This painting measures approximately 61cm by 46cm (24 inches wide x 18 inches high) The original is unframed, but gallerly wrapped, (painting on all sides of the stretched canvas).

I think you are one of my fav artist, love the colors in the sky and water, also your shark eye for detail and linear work in the ship, and buildings, make a great combination for a Masterpiece!
