That piece
"The Night" is a beauty."
The horizon line is hard to determine, which gives this painting a moving quality,
like water on a moonless night.
This atmospheric, tranquil painting has
a dramatic quality to the use of
blacks and grays.
I only used
monochrome
shades of black with a little bit
of blue nuances.
I challenged
myself to stay away from the
complementary color red.
