t is a sunny day in some city in some part of the U.S.A. Two musician friends decide to pull out their instruments, a banjo and a violin, to add to their enjoyment of the moment. Behind these two musicians rise a row of tenament houses. The red and orange bricks of these row houses contrasts with the dark green decorative elements that crown them. On the ground in front of these buildings stands a pile of rusted out abandoned automobiles, an example of the throw away society in which they find them selves. Wearing sun glasses and a cowboy hat the violin player is caught up in the music and is dancing as he plays. The banjo player's expression indicates that he too is engrossed in the music as he plays his banjo while seated on an empty blue metal container.
