In the series "Red Mountain...."
This small diptych found a new home
in Ithaca, the beautiful State of New York.

I TOTALLY LOVE IT!

Mixed media used:
soft wood shavings (excelsior), crushed egg shells, silk, cheese cloth.
All worked in with different mediums to conserve the pieces.

Many shades of red, raw and burnt umber, acra gold , acra orange, iridescent gold, and some copper tones, yellow ocher, white and blues, in acrylics.
(All Liquitex and/or Golden.)

As Olga Savvidis commented:
