Saint Clare of Assisi

St. Clare of Assisi, founder of the Poor Clares, is painted as a stain glass design for a future stain glass window. The painting measures 36" x 24" and is in oil on wood. Saint Clare displayed her faith by holding a monstrance containing the blessed sacrament before an approaching army to protect the women under her care.
