Goes Harbour

PhotoArt with a photo of my own, I have tried to create a photopainting inspired by the light and colours of Vermeer, the famous Dutch painter.

When I looked at it in the tumbnails I thought I know that view and yes.. It is Goes the inner harbor with the buildings of the middle ages. A pitty if you know there is on the left a cellar wich used to be called "de blauwe steen". It was a building where the "zakkendragersgilde" was housed. There the people got their job inside the harbor. I have been there a lot and seen much treagures been found...

Artist Reply: Hi Aqua, that is interesting, this information. Thank you for it. I love history and ancient buildings.. The mood of this dreamy harbour was such a beautiful thing for me to see and inspired me very much. If time stood still there.
