Mt. Olivet Chapel

Mt. Olivet Chapel was one of the rare local landmarks that was not burned in 1863 by General Banks. An artist friend traded a work she had done for this commission. She was married in the chapel and wanted a souvenir now that she lives in Baton Rouge.

Nicely done, interesting architectural piece... I like the composition and of course your unique style and color palette! It has a nice balance....

Very nice perspective, David... Uniqueness of colour use.. so much of your own style.

This is one of your signature paintings David! There's no mistaking those Van Gogh blues and the buildings so precisely in scale.Fabulous!
