20" x 24" oils on canvas half way into production of this commissioned portrait, I realized that the little boy's hand was blocking his face too much, I reconfigured the portrait for the parents, then finished this painting & the added the images in the bubbles to give it a more whimsical look . As a painting, I think it works, but not as a portrait.
