On behalf of the Spanish fans of Salas , I´d like to thank Roy for such brilliant cartoon as this one. A lot of us have accompanied our dear Armando, or "Pencil" as we often call him, on his birthday and given him our best wishes. This image is most appropriated, as Salas draw so many strips and cartoons , he is so clever and prolific, that you could think he has got one of these machines at home. Maybe, he has. Luckily, time refuses to spoil either his humour or his curiosity and sense of independence. We all love him so. But now, we also know he has got such good friends as Roy Boobyer . No wonder.
