Sugar Britches Twins

Hand made baby dolls done from Sugar Britches reproduction mold. I did one awake and one sleeping, to represent my twin daughters, who are grown with children of their own now.

Oh My! These baby dolls are so adorably realistic!!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Vernonette. I had a lot of fun making and dressing the porcelain dolls. These 2 have porcelain heads and hands, and muslin weighted bodies.

They are so lovely! Are you still making them, Joan?

Artist Reply: Thank you, Anneke. I do not make the porcelain dolls anymore. I was making them with a friend who had a kiln. She is no longer able to do them and with my health issues, I couldn`t do the pouring. I made around 22 porcelain dolls in all. Thank you for looking.
