San Blas Islands, Panama

This is the hut in which I stayed when I visited the San Blas Islands off the coast of Panama for several days. The Atlantic Ocean came right up to the back door, and the front, which you see here, was only several yards from the Atlantic Ocean. My hut was on a small island. The Cuna Indians live in the San Blas. They create the very beautiful mola. For them, it is their blouse; for us the mola is a work of art.
