COACH JOHN WOODEN'S STAND IN... portrait portion

Yesterday, While UCLA Coach John R. Wooden from Southern California's Pauley Pavillion was just released from the hospital and slept soundly in rehabilitation ......... I was painting his portrait. His immediate family members and friends were caring and involved in honoring this great man who's ethics, discipline and life conduct are still examples for generations to come. Nan (his daughter) posed for me as a "stand in" model for familiarity with her daddy's features. Standing beneath my airbrush Gorilla ladder, Dylon held a signed partial headshot of him as we discussed Col John Glenn's "teamwork" / New York mayor speech in the 1960's as well as eyecolor variables and her dad's bottom lip! lol. This is only a small unfinished part of the final painting which will be displayed on ArtWanted next month. HR - memories
