Plato defined "eros" as something felt for a person--not necessarily physical attraction--but with contemplation it becomes an "appreciation of the beauty within that person." Eros helps the soul to recall the knowledge of beauty and contributes to an understanding of spiritual truth. Love is what draws us out and makes us beautiful. My husband has shown me how amazing eros love can be and I dedicate this image to him.
