The Estate Auction

Acrylic on 20"x14",linen covered panel. Estate auctions tell an initial outward story of the death of a last willing steward. The homestead, the saved small tokens of past loves, events and soon to be forgotten people laid out for critical display. A fireman's carnival without rides or music; they mark the ending piece of a family's string in a collective American cloth, and so it must go.
